| Bio: | Hello, my name is Tony DeSimone. I am a chubby dorky guy with glasses who works at Blockbuster and is currently trying to save up money and get into graduate school, or something, still not positive what I'm gonna do. I was born in Rome, New York. I lived in Germany on an air force base (civilian area) from when I was 1 to11. Age 12 we moved to Myrtle Beach. Age 18 went to The College of Charleston (CofC) and graduated December 2004 at age 22. I love to listen to and compose music (which I went to college for) and I love watching movies, pretty exciting huh? My goal is to record albums and compose film scores, or at least earn just enough money so that I can make a living by composing music and nothing else. More than just about anything else I love to laugh and consider that an extremely important factor in my life. Comedy is good and is equal only to music in my life right now. I love all sorts of music and have favorites for each sort, but my absolute favorite bands/musicians are Yes, Frank Zappa, Bjork, and Tom Waits. I'm particularly a big progressive rock geek, but I also love a lot of classic and indie rock, classical (especially modern classical), jazz, new age, and at least a little bit of just about everything else. My 5 favoritest movies are: (5) Edward Scissorhands (4) Buffalo '66 (3) Life is Beautiful (2) Brazil (1) Harold and Maude (my favoritest of all) I must also give mad props to the directors Terry Gilliam, Mel Brooks, and Federico Fellini. I also like to read a bit, especially sci-fi, fantasy, weird-ass surreal stuff (though I'll read just about anything if I have the time and interest) and also independant comics, favorite comic: Elfquest. I also draw a little (just mediocre cartoony stuff). And I'm crazy about cartoons and animation as well. few faves "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast" "Animaniacs" the films of the Brothers Quay "Tokyo Godfathers" classic looney tunes "The Secret of Nimh" "Urusei Yatsura" "Cats Don't Dance" and at least 2/3rds of what's on Cartoon Network. Don't have many TV shows I watch, but I love Comedy Central, the aforementioned Cartoon Network, many other cartoons, The X-Files, Taxi, Star Trek, and sometimes Animal Planet and Turner Classic Movies. I own 6 pet mice named Maleficent, Grayscale, Tenenbaum, Rita, Cookie Dough, and Shnizzle. They like to run in their wheel and eat fresh vegetables. I am also taking care of a cat named Dusty who is black and fluffy. I love them all. My best friend is Gretchen, I love her too.
